Aim for the Stars! Dream Team
Dream Team is a limited PvP event where you build a team of 7 Umas, race against other players to scout their roster, and collect permanent stat bonuses along the way. The goal is to reach Team Rank S and claim the rewards at each milestone.
Starting Out
Your team consists of exactly 7 Umas: 1 captain and 6 on the roster. The Captain Uma has to be an Uma from your Veteran list. The other 6 members are Umas that you trade for. At the start, the 6 members are filled with mob Umas. The captain can be changed at any time.
Scout Races
Each day you have the ability to do 15 Races using Scout Race Tickets. The sources of Scout Race Tickets are:
- 5 from logging in at the 22:00 UTC reset time
- 5 from completing the Daily Mission of entering 5 Scout Races
- 5 from using Carrot Jelly Minis (RP restores) or 10 Carats per Ticket
Clicking "Scout Race" will bring you into a menu similar to Team Trials, where you are given a choice of 3 players to face against with the option of rerolling the list. However, unlike Team Trials, you are not locked into the player that you clicked on. This lets you preview other players' roster Umas.
Once you have selected a player to race against, you consume a Scout Race Ticket and are put into a singular non-live 7v7 race. Before you enter the race, you can view the race schedule. For this run of Dream Team, all races are held on Hanshin in summer at various distances and surfaces. This is one of the reasons why you can swap your captain, in order to adapt to the changing race conditions.
WARNING
After 3 matches, the race conditions change, so make sure to be aware of the race that is currently planned.
Whichever team has an Uma that places 1st wins the entire match. Upon winning the match, you will be rewarded Scout Points based on the team rank of your opponent. Having a win streak will reward 10% extra Scout Points and having a "Record Bonus" will grant up to 100% extra.

Winning this race gave 170 points: 100 Base Scout Points + 70 or 70% extra Scout Points due to the winstreak and Record Bonus
If you lose a race, you will still gain Scout Points. However, you are given the opportunity to Alarm Clock the race if desired. Using an Alarm Clock will increase your Umas' mood and increase your total stats by 25% up to 150% with 6 Alarm Clocks used.
TIP
There is no limit to the amount of Alarm Clocks used! As an extra, you are given 5 free retries each day to use. These retries are separate from and do not consume your Career's free retries.
The Record Collection And Scouting Mechanic
When you win a race with any Uma you haven't won with before, they are recorded in your Team History. Every Uma in your Team History grants a permanent +15 stat bonus for the rest of the event, up to a total of +240 Speed/+165
Stamina/+165
Power/+165
Guts/+165
Wit if you collect every Uma available.
For every 5 unique Umas collected, up to a maximum of 50, you gain a permanent +10% to Scout Points Earned, for a total of +100%.
By winning with specific combinations of Umas, you can also unlock Team Skills that grant a permanent stat buff for a specific distance, as shown in the table below.
| Uma | Skill | Stat Increase |
|---|---|---|
| Vodka and Daiwa Scarlet | +60 | |
| Grass Wonder and Mayano Top Gun | +60 | |
| Gold Ship and Mejiro McQueen | +60 |
INFO
All 6 of these Umas have won a race on the Hanshin racetrack with all but 2 (Vodka and Daiwa Scarlet) of them winning the Takarazuka Kinen!
By swapping your captain, you can add up to two new Umas to your record per race and boost your stats and Scout Point gain even higher. The stat bonuses your opponents obtained do not apply in your races; only your bonus applies.

The type of stat bonus can be found in the "Team History" tab on the event home page, or you can refer to this image.

For future reruns of this event, this image will be updated to include new Umas that weren't present for the previous event.
Afterwards, you enter the Scouting phase, where you can Scout any of the opponent's 7 Umas to replace one of your 6 roster Umas. The cost of trading for an Uma depends on her rank, the amounts shown below:

G-Rank Method
To have an easier time at higher ranks, you can choose to do the G Rank Method. This involves trading in G Ranked Umas you haven't obtained yet, then trading them back out, in order to build up your bonus stats and Team Skills before climbing the ranks.
- Set your captain as a G rank Uma
TIP
You can obtain a G rank Uma by starting a Career and getting your energy low enough to fail a training. You want to keep failing trainings until your stats are as low as you can make them. This can be done more easily in the Trackblazer Scenario as there are no Career Objectives, allowing more turns on Umas that might have fewer stats.
- Enter the Scout Race screen and look for an opponent that has an Uma you have not collected. Prioritize Umas that are a part of the Team Skills to obtain these first. After obtaining the Team Skills, look for other Umas that you have not yet recorded in your Team History, but especially Umas you do not own.
- Once you have found a team you want to race against, exit out of the Scout Race screen and swap your G Rank captain to a built Uma that you have not collected yet in order to record 2 Umas at once: your new captain and the opponent's Uma.
TIP
If you run out of built Umas to be your captain but own others who can still be recorded in your Team History, you can quickly do a URA Finale run as even A rank Umas will not struggle against a lobby of G Rank Umas. Even at a rate of Scouting only 1 Uma per race, such as if you don't have much variety in Umas you can use as captains, you will need only a maximum of 4 days to collect all the Uma. The event lasts 8 days in total, so you should still have more than enough time to fully complete the event.
- Go back to the Scout Race screen and select the opponent you wish to race.
- Win the Scout Race and swap out one of your temporary or already recorded Umas for one that you haven't collected.
- Repeat the process until you are satisfied, collected all of the Umas, or reached the max Record Bonus of 50. REMEMBER the priority: Team Skill Umas > Umas that provide
Speed or
bonus that you do NOT own > Umas you do NOT own >
Speed or
bonus Umas > everyone else.
