What is a Skill?
Skills grant various bonuses (Velocity, Acceleration, Stamina/Recovery, etc.) to the Uma during a race.
They are purchased during a Career run by spending Skill Points (SP).
All non-Green Skills have a percentage chance to activate, based on your Wit stat. The formula is as below:
Hints reduce SP cost by 10% per level for the first 3 levels, then by 5% for the last 2 levels, totalling up to a 40% discount.

Skill Hunting From Cards
There are three ways to receive skills from a card:
- Event Chain
- Non-Chain Event
- Hints
- Random Events
The most reliable method is from an Event Chain, as they consistently show up to give their Skill Hints. Non-chain Events are unreliable and should not be relied upon for integral Skills.
Hints are the [!] mark on Support Cards that can give various Skill Hints. Skills from Hints vary in reliability, as these depend on the Support Card’s Hint Frequency and the size of the Hint pool. Tachyon Wit SR has a pool of four skills, while Gold Ship’s SSR cards have a pool of fourteen skills! Purchasing a skill immediately upon receiving a hint shrinks the Hint pool of the Support Card, increasing the odds of accessing unlearned skills, at the tradeoff of potentially higher SP cost.
Additionally, roaming Supports that aren’t in your deck have a chance to appear in your Career run and do a single Event. If stars align, you can complete a full chain this way!
